Summer Workouts – Begin early June
Here is our schedule for the summer... with more details to come!
The incoming freshmen must graduate from 8th grade before they can attend any practices/games.
The cost for summer basketball for incoming freshmen is $100.
First day of practice - Tuesday, June 11 - 6:30pm-8:00pm
Last day - Middle of July
Varsity Tournaments - Varsity and JV players from this past season
JV Tournaments - Incoming frosh and Freshman players from this past season
We will practice and lift a couple of times a week.
Frosh/Soph summer league - TBD
How do I pay and/or sign up for MC summer basketball?
You can bring the checks to the first week of practice or first day of the Frosh/JV Summer League.
How do I know if I am supposed to go to the Varsity practices/scrimmages or the Summer League?
If you played Varsity or JV this past season (2023-2024), then plan on attending the Varsity events. If you are an incoming Freshman please plan on attending the Summer League.
**We will let you know if we want you to attend the Varsity events instead of the Summer League, as well as ask JV players from this past season to play in the Summer League if we are short on numbers.**
I am an incoming freshman... can I attend Varsity events when I don't have summer league?
Absolutely! But we cannot guarantee playing time... that will be determined on numbers and level of competition. It is a great opportunity to learn about our culture & begin to learn our system!
When will we know the tournament schedules?
Typically, the tournament director will get the schedule out at least a week ahead of time. We will communicate with you as soon as we receive the schedule.
Do we need a jersey for summer league?
We will provide you with a jersey top.
