• What is the required coursework?

  Certification in the Principled Entrepreneurship Institute program requires students to take and complete coursework in two semesters of Entrepreneurship I (junior year) and Entrepreneurship II (senior year). These courses are electives and consultation with your counselor is highly recommended when planning and designing your class schedule for junior and senior year if you are considering applying to the PEI.

   

  Most coursework will be done during class time. Some projects may require outside of the classroom activity. We will focus on Discernment, Ideating, Business Planning, and Building during the four semesters in the Entrepreneurship courses. 

• How many students will be accepted into PEI?

  Up to 20 students will be accepted into PEI each year.

• How do I apply?

  Click here to access the application. Interested students can apply for the program in spring of their Sophomore year. Applications for Fall of 2023 are due March 9, 2023 at 5:00pm. Students should forward their completed application packages to Director David Friend at: dfriend@marincatholic.org.

  Yes, the PEI will include access to local events facilitated by Bay Area entrepreneurs, as well as optional participation in various educational summer programs, such as the Summer Shark Tank at Catholic University of America and Wizeline Academy in Guadalajara, Mexico.
