Meet the Director
David Friend
We are fortunate to have recruited David Friend as the founding Director of the Principled Entrepreneurship Institute (PEI) at Marin Catholic. David ‘retired' from a 35 year career where he led and created business opportunities at both Fortune 50 and start-up companies. He is a graduate of U.C. San Diego where he studied Political Science and Economics. He also studied World Economics at Cambridge University and holds certificates in Business Data Analytics and Digital Marketing from SMU. No stranger to the MC Community, David has served the school on the Board of Regents and is the proud parent of three graduates - Nathaniel (’14), Gillian (’18) and Caroline - ('24). His focus as Director of the PEI has been to ensure a coordinated program where students grow as leaders for positive change.
