Ryan Chisholm '04 is a music manager/record label executive. Ryan kicked off his career by helping to guide the career of pop/singer-songwriter Christina Perri. Together they sold over 10 million singles, over 1 million albums and over 2 billion YouTube views with global hits like “Jar of Hearts”, “A Thousand Years” and “Human.”
For the past 4 years Ryan has managed the career of pop/singer-songwriter/poet/podcaster Mike Posner, who’s song “I Took A Pill in Ibiza” amassed over 2.5 billion worldwide streams, went Top 10 in 85 countries, held the #1 on Top 40 radio for two weeks straight, made history as “One of Spotify’s Top 10 Most Streamed Songs of All Time” and earned Posner a 2017 Grammy nomination for “Song of the Year”.
In addition to Mike Posner, Ryan’s current roster includes cathartic singer-songwriter and social activist MILCK, who’s song “Quiet” went viral after performing at the 2017 Women’s March in Washington D.C. and a crowd captured video racked up 15 million views in 3 days. Ryan also manages, rapper/singer/producer, Wes Period, who was direct support for Kesha and Macklemore’s US Arena Tour in 2018.
In the middle of 2018, Ryan stepped away from Nettwerk Music Group, where he’d been for the past 5 years to embark on a new adventure as GM of Work of Art Management alongside Work of Art President, David Massey. In addition to Ryan’s role as GM of the management company, he also took on the new role of SVP of Arista Records (West Coast) under the Sony Music umbrella.
