  As an extra-curricular program, these trips are offered outside the school calendar, most frequently during Christmas Break, Easter Break, and Summer Break. 

• Can all students participate?

  As an extra-curricular program, participation is strongly encouraged but not required. We offer a variety of trips so eligibility will vary. Some trips will be by invitation only, others are open to anyone interested dependent only on space. All trips will require an application that will be reviewed by the trip moderators and the DIA Immersion Director.

  Cultural/Educational
  Whether you are spending a week immersed in the Spanish language and salsa lessons in Madrid, or helping with marine surveys in Bali, you will be sure to return home with a new appreciation for everything you learned and tried, and all of the people you met while traveling. It’s an exciting blend of learning and adventure.

  All DIA Immersion trips require a faculty and/or staff lead so trip proposals are only accepted by current faculty and staff. Students may partner with a faculty or staff member to create a proposal.
