Winner of over 50 sanctioned local, state, and intercollegiate tournaments throughout her junior tennis career.

As a junior tennis player, Lisa was ranked #1 in girls doubles in Northern California for four consecutive years (ages 14-18).

Marin Catholic High School Girls’ Varsity #1 High School Tennis Player for three consecutive years (1972-1975).

Awarded a full athletic scholarship to Brigham Young University 1975-1977.

Twice selected to the All Western Athletic-Conference teams while at BYU.

Awarded a full athletic scholarship to the University of San Francisco 1978-1980 (she was one of the first women athletes to be awarded an athletic scholarship at the University of San Francisco) Graduated from USF with honors in 1980.

Awarded most Valuable player award in Tennis and Cross-Country Track for two consecutive years at University of San Francisco.

In 1978 played on the Cote A’zur French Circuit and English Lawn Tennis circuit, along with her brother John.

1981-83 NCAA Division 1 Assistant Women’s Tennis Coach at University of California Berkeley.

1983-86 NCAA Division 1 Head Women’s Tennis Coach at San Jose State University. While at SJSU her teams accumulated more wins in three seasons than the school had won in the previous six seasons.

1986-1990 NCAA Division 1 Head Women’s Tennis Coach at the University of California Santa Barbara. While at Santa Barbara she led her team to its first ever Division 1 NCAA national tennis ranking.

1990-1993 First Woman to be hired in an Athletic Director position at the Olympic Club in San Francisco, the oldest athletic club in the United States. She was named Director of Tennis and Head Tennis Professional at a time when the Olympic Club was still an all-men’s athletic club.

During her coaching career she often coached numerous junior regional and national teams that represented the United States Tennis Association
