St. Fusco's Children's Home Needs Your Help!

Since Ash Wednesday, Sister Dolly from the St. Fusco’s Children’s Home has been visiting our students’ classrooms, bearing witness to her life in love and service to God and the poor. She is a great role model for our youth--living a truly Christian life.

Her home is Kat An Du Anes, a typhoon battered island in the Phillipines. Her orphanage is completely dependent on our aid.

Mr. Tassone has been working with the St. Fusco’s Children’s Home since 2003 and through the St. Vincent de Paul Society, has sent computers, books, and school materials to assist them with their needs.

In 2006, Sr. Dolly visited Marin Catholic, among other parish schools, and raised approximately $10,000 to help the poorest of the poor. Even the smallest amount can bring help. Each donation of $5 helps pay for room, board, medical aid, education, and clothing for a child. If enough funds are not raised, the Children's Home cannot continue to provide aid to all of its children.

Students are raising funds in their Theology classes through the end of Lent. To make a donation, please send cash or check (payable to Marin Catholic High School, with Sister Dolly’s name in the memo) to school with your student.

We thank everyone who has generously supported this effort!
