Visit Marin Catholic
First and foremost students and parents should plan on attending our community wide Open House on Sunday, October 26, 2008 from 2:00-4:30 p.m. The Marin Catholic Open House highlights our academic program, student leadership opportunities, campus ministry, the arts, athletics, and introduces you to members of our community. This is a full 2 1/2 hour program. Please plan on arriving in the gym promptly at 2:00 p.m. No need to RSVP.
We strongly encourage eighth grade students to schedule a visit. Time spent visiting Marin Catholic during the school day is invaluable. It is your opportunity to be an MC student for the day.
Students should arrive for their visits by 8:25 a.m. The day begins with a guided tour of the campus. At 8:55 the student is introduced to their MC guide and then has the opportunity to sit in on three morning classes and enjoy a snack from our cafe. During lunch the visiting student will have the choice to attend one of three round table discussions. The choices will be student government/clubs and activities, athletics, or the arts. Lunch will be provided. Our goal is that no student goes away with any unanswered question.
Thirty students will be accommodated on any scheduled visit day. The appointments will fill up quickly so please call as soon as possible.
