Arts) have a great art venue lined up for this school year. Two theatre
productions: Fall Play & Spring Musical, the Christmas & Spring Music
Concerts, the Annual Arts Extravaganza & Art Benefit...and, the return of the

| MCPA: Thank You! |
| The Welcome Coffee was again just that! A little window in the morning of Freshman Orientation Day, meeting new parents over coffee, baked goods, and fruits. More parents than ever attended and were welcomed by Father Daly, our principal Chris Valdez, Boosters President Mike Bentivoglio, Parton of the Arts Co-Chair Claire Snyder, Academic Support Center (ASC) parent liaison Suzanne Gooder, MC Boutique's Susan Monahan, and our energetic 2010-2011 MCPA board. Parents heard about several events, such as the Fashion Show and Mom's Night Out, which contribute in great part to our school's intimate sense of community. This class of 2014 promises to be a wonderful addition to Marin Catholic. It was great to meet so many new parents and to see several retuning ones. A special thank you to Larissa Daniels, MCPA Membership Chair, for her efforts in organizing this event. Welcome Class of 2014! Laura Mogannam Bev Noonan MCPA 2010-2011 Co-presidents |

| Traffic Control Information for All Parents |
| In
order to facilitate traffic safely into and off campus in a timely manner
benefiting all, please
follow these few guidelines: 1) PROCEDURE: Cars picking up students before and after school should form TWO WAITING LINES in the closest two right lanes in front of the gym with cars PULLED UP to the white line. In the left outside lane (closest to Sir Francis Drake) NO STOPPING is allowed. This is for DRIVE THROUGH traffic only- especially for students to park and get to class on time. We promise to get you out of those inside lanes ASAP. Please follow the directions given by staff supervisors. Note: It is extremely important for everyone's safety that no line forms on Sir Francis Drake Blvd. If lines are backed up (and they will be almost every day), proceed through to the left moving lane to the arrow that leads you through the first lane of parked student cars. A second waiting line forms at the side of the gym. 2) The main driveway from Sir Francis Drake is one way into the campus from 7:30 am-3:30 pm each school day. Do not attempt left turns from that driveway onto Sir Francis Drake, especially during the beginning and end of the normal school day. 3) The driveway connecting MC with St. Sebastian's is one way entering MC in the morning and leaving MC in the afternoon. 4) St. Sebastian's has designated entrance and exit driveways. Use these as indicated. Student drivers who fail to do so will lose their campus parking privileges. Parent drivers who fail to use the proper driveways should know that they are jeopardizing MC's right to pass through the parish property. 5) DO NOT USE THE ADMINISTRATIVE PARKING LOT to the RIGHT of the main driveway for drop offs or pick-ups. (Even if your student is late.) This area is small and designated for admin and visitors only. THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIGILANCE AND COOPERATION! |
