Frosh Retreat

Freshmen Retreat Day
September 19, 2007
Led by trained Senior Leaders, the whole freshmen Class is taken by bus to CYO Camp in Occidental for the day. The morning starts with a teaching mass led by Father Daly in the outdoor Chapel of the Redwoods. The focus of the day is twofold: for students to look and reflect on their own faith journeys, and for students to come together as a class and meet new friends that will walk with them in this journey for the next 4 years.

Freshmen Community Day
April 21, 2008
Freshmen are taken to Alliance Redwoods in Occidental to participate in an adventure ropes course. This "challenge by choice" activity brings students together as they cheer each other on while swinging from the trees. Group initiative activities at the ground level are used to enhance trust and camaraderie.
For more information on the ropes course log onto the web at www.allianceredwoods.com.
