Counseling
Monthly News for May
Course requests are in and scheduling is underway! AP/Honors class lists are posted around school and students were notified of that and, that if they have questions about their status, to check with the Department Chair for each particular subject area. Department Chair names are posted with each subject list. Hopefully, student schedules for the '08-'09 school year will be distributed to students before or during finals week. This will allow students the opportunity to check with their counselor, teacher(s), and/or department chair should there be confusion. AP exams for this year's AP classes are being administered from May 5th through May 14th. Please check the school calendar for the date of each exam. Posters have been placed around school with the exact time and location for each exam. Don't forget to sign up for SAT Reasoning and Subject tests, as well as the ACT with Writing Assessment.

Senior Parents:
Click here for important FINANCIAL AID INFORMATION (for February through May) from Ms. Meaney.
Also, a great idea for juniors and their parents… print a copy of the "College Application Comparison Chart" by selecting the first button on the page http://www.marincatholic.org/index/all-about-colleges and post it on your refrigerator door. It is VERY useful for many basic "applying to college" questions! Your junior "soon-to-be" college applicant has a hardcopy of this in his/her college folder (given out during the college project). Please join your son/daughter in their college research and discuss their research/options.
