The Boosters Club is a group of parents and friends who support all 62
men's and women's teams included in the MC Athletic Program. Through
membership, donations, special events and an enormous amount of
volunteer support, the Boosters have helped Marin Catholic build and
maintain one of the premier high school athletic programs in the Bay
Area.
The Marin County Athletic League (MCAL) offers 24 varsity sports. 16 have MCAL playoffs. During the 2006/2007 season, Marin Catholic teams qualified for MCAL playoffs in ALL 16 sports. MCAL has 24 potential championship banners, in 2006/2007 Marin Catholic won 8.
The North Coast Section (NCS) offers playoffs in 24 varsity sports, in 2006/2007, Marin Catholic qualified for playoffs in 19 sports. Congratulations to Women's Soccer with their NCS championship!!! And congratulations to our NCS runner-up teams, Women's Basketball, Women's Golf and Men's Swimming!
BE A BOOSTER!
Each year the Boosters host an annual golf tournament and a festive Cioppino Night. You can see the Boosters presence at all MC athletic events selling tickets, running the concessions, and proudly cheering on the student athletes of Marin Catholic.
Did you know that Mr. Ritchie received a letter from St. Brigid's High
School Principal Enda Cullen after running into the Wildcat Football Team in Grass Valley this summer. Enda writes, "The pride that they had in
representing their school was very evident. The integrity, dignity and kindness
that the group manifested exemplifies all that is best about Catholic
education. I will be highlighting the qualities of Marin
Catholic High to my colleagues."
